AltoRex marries the Italian words for "high" and "king." They're apt descriptions for this noble lounge's rooftop location as well as a warm homage to our very own Kim King, the legendary Georgia Tech football hero and father to AltoRex investor Beau King.

Designed by San Francisco's Puccini Group, AltoRex welcomes you to settle in among the atmospheres - Earth, Air, Fire and Water. The motifs are woven into a décor of eco-conscious components, like the organic materials and lush landscaping featuring indigenous plants. The private cabanas can be reserved for more exclusive retreats.

In addition to the exceptional cocktail craftsmanship and a line-up of libations that includes art forms like the Peach Julep (Bulleit Bourbon, peach puree and mint), the bar also offers a diversity of wines by the glass and a handsome collection of microbrews.

If you're in the mood for a bite, Chef Moritz has assembled a mouthwatering menu. A Georgia native and Midtown neighbor herself, her creations including tuna tartare and avocado tacos, pulled pork sliders with Wild Turkey BBQ sauce and pimento cheese grits. All are well suited to share or simply relish all to yourself.
